In an email sent to bloggers and press, Microsoft said that it was due to launch its Content Ads programme. Similar to Google AdSense, the scheme will place Microsoft adCenter style advertising alongside website content.
Initially the scheme will only be available on Microsoft content sites, such as MSN Money, MSN Real Estate and the Windows Live series of websites. However, the email hinted that the program could be expanded to Content Ads partners at a later date.
